MORN PRAYER

AFSAR NIZAM

Now morn it’s call to prayer

As The dazzling star appears

Bid adieu to Slumber

Rising like the moon

shining up.

Offer two rakat Sunna

Then two rakat farj prayer

And thus equip thine body and mind

Like the beauty of a gardener.

While the Faithful say their prayer

Let the indolent be in slumber.
