BEAM OF THE BLUE_ AFSAR NIZAM
BEAM OF
THE BLUE
AFSAR NIZAM
Evening
appeared
With
stars with the setting Sun
Asking
the white cloud in crowd
To
stand a bit apart.
O
the birds of nocturnal air,
Perch
on the bough of trees
Singing
in soiree in rhythmic metre.
O
red and blue Fairies
Dance,
dance spreading thy wing
And
put off thy anklets not
As
it's a forbidden thing,
The
Queen of water swims
Floating
on little height of it
O
the Queen of water
bathing
in moonlit night water
Smile
in golden heart
Smile
a bit in part.
O
the Buds of garden,
Bloom
as flowers in the night
Release
the perfume of Otor
with
the spread of thy pedals,
O
the Emperor of Jins,
Spread
the watch of thine all over
the
Heavens of seven
Post
your Sentries evrywhere
Upon
the cities beneath
the
Earth and Ocean.
After
a little while
The
Moon will shine up in the Sky
And
the Elephent of Pearl-king
Will
carry it upon its back dry
A
Cover studded its edge
with
Diamond and Pearl
From
where Moon's light
Spreads
the beam of dream at large.
Riding
upon a fairy Horse
Of
dazzling pebbles
Dreams
are dropping as showers
Upon
the houses big or pwall,
Hence
keep these shining stones in care
And
when thou art in distress
Dream
them as fun and fair.
